Hi friends, Good evening and have nice cool day!! I am not posting much these days because I was having Viral fever and not feeling well. Today I got some strength to post and yesterday match between Mohali Kings XI Punjab and Bangalore Royal Challengers became a one sided match because of brilliant knock by Shaun Marsh.
I was surprised to see that Rahul Dravid is not sticking with a team and he is keeps on changing the team in regular bases. When Wasim Jaffer came into good form he was removed and new opener Arun Kumar was brought as opener. Bangalore Royal Challengers management is daily experimenting with opening spot and not coming up with good strategy.
The Bangalore team had set a modest target of 144 but Kings XI team started the chase in a brilliant manner. Dale Steyn banged in short pitch stuff thinking that Shaun Marsh and James Hopes are indian players and forgot that they are from Australia and good players of short pitch stuff. Zaheer Khan was also not able to show any jalwa or magic.
Earlier all the Royal Challengers batsmen struggled against the good bowling attack of Kings XI. VRV Singh was more effective and he was well supported by Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla and Sreesant. Misabal-ul-Haq was about to show his touch for Bangalore Royal Challengers but got out in very disappointed way in the form of Hit wicket. He score 21 in just 8 balls (3 fours and 1 six) and Rahul Dravid(29 in just 27 balls) and M Boucher (39 in just 31 balls) were other batsmen who played good knocks for Royal Challengers.
Mohali Kings XI Punjab reach the target of 144 in just 15.4 overs and Shaun Marsh was awarded the Man of Match for his brilliant knock of 71 in just 51 balls (9 fours and 2 sixes) and James Hopes was awarded the DLF maximum sixes for hitting maximum sixes in this match.
Finally, In my opinion Bangalore Royal Challengers are not coming up with right strategies and playing defensive cricket which is not suited for T20 cricket format. Royal Challengers are not playing as unit and from here it is hard for the team to reach Semi finals...
